3D model of United States Navy vessel designed to transport and deploy Marines, their equipment, and supplies in support of amphibious operations. It has a displacement of 24,900 tons and a length of 208 meters, making it one of the largest amphibious ships in the world. The ship is equipped with a well deck that can house landing craft and amphibious vehicles, as well as a flight deck that can accommodate helicopters and tilt-rotor aircraft. The San Antonio-class is also fitted with advanced command, control, and communications systems, and is capable of carrying out a wide range of missions, from humanitarian aid to combat operations. The ship's design incorporates features to enhance survivability, such as a double hull and shock-resistant structures, making it a critical asset for projecting U.S. military power ashore.
