yes3D model of an early automobile, also known as the "Benz Victoria" or "Benz Velociped", designed and manufactured by the German automobile manufacturer Benz & Cie. Introduced in 1894, the Benz Velo was designed by Carl Benz. The Benz Velo was a significant evolution of Benz's earlier Patent Motor Car, featuring a tubular steel frame, wire-spoked wheels, and a more powerful 1.5 horsepower, single-cylinder engine. The car was capable of speeds up to 20 km/h (12 mph), making it suitable for both city and country driving. The Benz Velo also introduced several innovations, including a differential, a clutch pedal and a steering wheel instead of a tiller for steering. The Benz Velo was first presented at the Paris-Rouen automobile race in 1894. Production of the Benz Velo began in 1894 and over the next few years some 1,200 units were produced, making it one of the first mass-produced automobiles.
3D model created maximally close to a real Benz car and based on the dimensions from open sources.
All model files were "smoothed". By request we provide unsmoothed files.
