The Boeing CH-47 Chinook is an American twin-engine, tandem-rotor, heavy-lift helicopter designed and manufactured by Boeing. First introduced in 1962, the Chinook has become an iconic workhorse for military and humanitarian missions worldwide, known for its exceptional lifting capacity and versatility. The helicopter's tandem rotor design provides exceptional stability and maneuverability, allowing it to carry up to 24,000 pounds (10,886 kg) of cargo or up to 55 troops.
