3D model of a highly recognizable building located in the heart of Hollywood, California. This 13-story circular tower was built in 1956 and was designed by renowned architect Welton Becket. It is made primarily of reinforced concrete and features unique elements such as the round shape, striped spire and a rooftop helipad. The building is famous for its giant, illuminated record on the roof, which is meant to represent a vinyl record with grooves. Capitol Records, a major record label founded in 1942, has been headquartered at the building since its construction. Its iconic recording artists include The Beatles, Frank Sinatra and Beastie Boys.
