3D model of a spacecraft developed by SpaceX for NASA's Commercial Crew Program, designed to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station. It is capable of carrying up to seven crew members and can autonomously dock with the space station. It is reusable and designed to land on water, with the ability to perform up to five missions before being refurbished. The spacecraft features an advanced launch escape system and uses a combination of 16 Draco thrusters and four larger SuperDraco engines for propulsion. The Crew Dragon made its first successful crewed flight in May 2020, with the Demo-2 mission, and has since completed several more missions to the space station.
The model is made in compliance with the proportions and dimensions of the real spacecraft.
