3D model of a fictional vehicle known as the DeLorean Time Machine, a central element of the "Back to the Future" film trilogy (1985-1990) directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg. The car is depicted as a modified DeLorean DMC-12 equipped with a "flux capacitor", a fictional device that allows the car to travel through time when it reaches a speed of 88 miles per hour. In the trilogy, the DeLorean is invented by the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown, played by Christopher Lloyd. The car is initially powered by plutonium in the first film, but is later upgraded in the sequel to a "Mr. Fusion" home energy reactor that converts household waste into energy. The DeLorean Time Machine's license plate in the first film reads "OUTATIME", a reference to its time-traveling capabilities.
3D model created maximally close to a real car and based on the dimensions from open sources.
