3D model of a stadium in Sochi, Russia, built for the 2014 Winter Olympics. The stadium has a seating capacity of 40,000 and was designed to resemble a mountain peak. It is named after Mount Fisht, a nearby mountain in the Caucasus Mountains. The stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2014 Winter Olympics, as well as several other events during the games. It has also hosted concerts and other sporting events, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The Fisht Olympic Stadium has a retractable roof and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, making it suitable for a variety of events. It is located in the Olympic Park, which includes several other Olympic venues and facilities. After the Winter Olympics, the stadium was renovated for use as a soccer stadium and is now the home of the FC Sochi soccer club. It is also the home of the Russian national soccer team.
