3D model of a World War II German super heavy tank, completed in late 1944. It is the heaviest fully enclosed armored fighting vehicle ever built.

The Maus was a German WWII super-heavy tank, completed in 1944. It was the heaviest enclosed AFV ever built. Just two hulls and one turret were finished, and the turret was mounted before testing grounds were captured by Soviet forces. The main challenge in its design was to find an engine and drivetrain powerful enough to move the tank, but compact enough to fit inside. The Maus was intended to create gaps in enemy fortifications like a massive breakthrough tank while minimizing damage to its components.
