Designed by Atelier SDG and developed by Sunland Group, the tower soars 1,058 feet (322 meters) high, making it the tallest building in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere at the time of its completion in 2005. Inspired by the Olympic Torch and the Sydney Opera House, Q1's unique design features a sleek, tapering form with a distinctive spire. The building comprises 80 floors, housing 526 luxury apartments and various amenities, including the QDeck, an observation deck on the 77th and 78th floors.
