3D model of a modern office building in London's financial district. Designed by British architect Norman Foster, the building was completed in 2004 and stands at a height of 180 metres. The building is famous for its unique shape, often described as a 'gherkin' or 'pickle'. The exterior of the building features an innovative design of triangular glass and steel panels, allowing for maximum natural light and energy efficiency. The St Mary Axe is home to some of the world's leading companies, including Swiss Re and Kirkland & Ellis. The building also features a sky-high bar and restaurant with panoramic views of the City of London. It has won numerous awards for its innovative design, including the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize in 2004. Since its completion, St Mary Axe has become an iconic landmark.
