3D model of a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England. It consists of a ring of standing stones, each weighing around 25 tonnes, arranged in a circular pattern. The monument was built in several phases between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. Its purpose remains a mystery; some theories suggest that it was a burial ground or a place for ritual ceremonies. It is thought that the stones were brought from as far as 20 miles away and moved into place using primitive methods. The monument is aligned with the summer solstice and each year thousands of people gather to watch the sun rise over the stones.
