3D model of the largest of the three pyramids at Giza, Egypt. Built for Pharaoh Khufu during the 4th Dynasty, it stands 146 metres tall and is estimated to have taken around 20 years to construct. Built from over 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing an average of 2.5 tonnes, the pyramid is a testament to the advanced engineering skills of the ancient Egyptians. It is thought to have been built as a tomb for Khufu, with several chambers and passages inside, including the famous King's and Queen's chambers.
