3D model of a football stadium located in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. It is the home of FC Schalke 04, a German football club. The stadium has a seating capacity of 62,271 and was completed in 2001, replacing the club's previous stadium, Parkstadion. The Veltins Arena is known for its innovative and modern design, including its retractable roof and moveable pitch. The stadium also features state-of-the-art amenities, including VIP lounges, restaurants, and a large video screen. The stadium was originally named Arena AufSchalke, but was renamed Veltins Arena in 2005 after a sponsorship deal with Veltins brewery. The Veltins Arena has hosted numerous high-profile events, including the 2004 UEFA Champions League final and several matches during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
