This idea was inspired by the confusing and endless year this has been. This year, like for many of us was for change, was to progress with our lives yet on many levels the opposite happened.

I wanted to capture the feeling of trying to go places but being caught up by external forces and feeling stuck. Being pulled apart in every direction, but the overwhelming feeling of being stuck in time.

In addition to this, pairing the Monopoly board with Penrose stairs felt like the perfect combination to illustrate this idea.
