Apprentice’s Top Hat

Rumor has it that an aloof inventor has finally taken in an apprentice. They were prestigious and well-renowned, but was known to reject any aspiring inventor who yearned for their knowledge and experience.

One day, when a co-worker was tasked to seek this inventor, they saw a little top hat sitting atop a table in their lounge. Materials, eye gear and a pocket watch were attached firmly on the accessory. There wasn't a single doubt that all of the hints pointed to the mysterious apprentice.
