3D model of a seven-shot double-action revolver designed by the Belgian brothers Émile and Léon Nagant in the late 19th century. Adopted by the Russian Empire in 1895, the Nagant M1895 is chambered for the 7.62x38mmR cartridge, which features an extended case that creates a gas seal when fired. This gas seal system resulted in an increased muzzle velocity and allowed the revolver to be effectively suppressed, a rare capability among revolvers. The M1895 was widely used by Russian and Soviet forces during both World Wars and the Russian Civil War, earning a reputation for ruggedness and reliability.
