Osumi-class tank landing ship 3D model

3D model of an amphibious assault ship used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). The class consists of two ships, the lead ship being JS Osumi, and the second ship being JS Shimokita. These ships were designed to transport troops, vehicles, and equipment from ship to shore, making them an essential component of Japan's amphibious operations capability. The ships can carry up to 300 troops and 14 tanks, or a combination of vehicles and cargo. They are equipped with a well deck for launching and recovering landing craft, and can also operate helicopters from their flight decks. The Osumi-class ships have a displacement of approximately 8,900 tons and are powered by two diesel engines, giving them a maximum speed of around 25 knots. These ships have been used in a variety of missions, including disaster relief operations, maritime security patrols, and joint military exercises with other countries.
