yes3D model of a custom-built monoplane designed by Donald A. Hall and built by Ryan Airlines. The aircraft was flown by Charles Lindbergh on his historic non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean in 1927. The Spirit of St. Louis made its maiden flight on April 28, 1927, and Lindbergh's transatlantic flight took place on May 20 and 21, 1927. Although not an official nickname, the full name of the aircraft, "Ryan NYP" (for New York to Paris), signifies the purpose and route of Lindbergh's groundbreaking journey.
The model is made in compliance with the proportions and dimensions of the real aircraft.
All files were "smoothed", but you can write to us and get a version with the original geometry. You can download the model in any convenient format.
