Beauty and the Beast

The Beauty: 1932 Ford De Luxe Coupe V8.

The Beast: Ford-Cosworth DFV V8, naturally-aspirated 3.0 L aluminum alloy 32-valve, 400–530 hp (298–395 kW) United Kingdom, Production 1967–1983.

Not many cars have such an iconic design and such a legacy as the 32 ford altought it had not the most reliable factory flathead engine, still this car has, t aged a bit its an eternal classic.

The engine for this one is a Cosworth dfv engine, not specifically used in hot rods more in the race car industry (mainly in Formula 1) but, I thought it would be a cool combination of these two.

Creating the work for the challenge was a lot of fun, I experimented whit different effects: particle, volumetric, fluid dynamics Made entirely in blender, modeled, textured, composed just the side decals were made in Corel, 0% postprocess gimp photoshop etc.
