3D model of a multi-role frigate operated by the French Navy. It is the lead ship of the Aquitaine-class frigates and was commissioned in 2012. The ship is designed to operate in a variety of roles, including anti-air warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and anti-surface warfare. It is equipped with a range of advanced weapons systems, including a vertical launch system for missiles, torpedoes, and guns. The Aquitaine has a displacement of approximately 6,000 tons and is powered by a combination of gas turbines and diesel engines, giving it a maximum speed of over 27 knots. The ship is also equipped with advanced sensors and communication systems, as well as a helicopter deck for supporting maritime operations. The Aquitaine has been deployed on a variety of missions, including anti-piracy operations off the coast of Somalia and supporting French military operations in Syria.
